A jubilee exhibition dedicated to the 125 anniversary of a well-known architect Michael Kalashnikov

A jubilee exhibition dedicated to the 125 anniversary of a well-known architect Michael Kalashnikov (1886-1969) was held on June 8, 2011 in the Tbilisi Museum of History (Karvasla) by the National Museum of Georgia, the George Chubinashvili Centre, an International Cultural-Educational Union “Russian Club” and the Union of Architects of Georgia. The measurements, sketches, unknown photos made by the architect were exhibited. The curator of the exhibition is a research worker of the George Chubinashvili Centre Tamaz Gersamia.

Tamaz Gersamia, the director of the Centre Mariam Didebulidze and the heir of Michael Kalashnikov Cyril Fomin spoke about the great services of Michael Kalashnikov and the significance of the exhibition; Giga Batiashvili and Lika Mamatsashvili made speeches as well.
