A meeting, held at Tbilisi academy of Art on April 13, 2010, was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Doctor of Art History Dimitri Tumanishvili who works at the George Chubinashvili National Research Centre for Georgian Art History and Heritage Preservation and is a professor at the Academy of Art.
In the dispute on the theme “The Issue of the Identity of Georgian Culture” following scientists took part: Gia Bugadze (the rector of the Academy of Art), Ani Kldiashvili, Asmat Okropiridze, Dimitri Tumanishvili, Mariam Didebulidze (the director of the Chubinashvili Centre), Leila Khuskivadze, Lika Mamaladze, Samson Lezhava, Lela Iakobashvili and Nino Gaganidze.
Doctor of Art History Iuza Khuskivadze presented Dimitri Tumanishvili’s book – “At the Crossroads”.
Doctor of Art History Leila Khuskivadze spoke about the activity of Dimitri Tumanishvili.
