On March 5, 2014 a meeting with the prominent Turkish scholar Osman Ayitekin was held at the G. Chubinashvili Centre. The Centre has had close collaboration with him since 2007-2008.
The issues of future partnership and collaboration were discussed as well as the problems concerning the conservation-restoration work of the Ishkhani church which is implemented by Turkish restorers. The issues of the restoration project to be implemented on the Oshki church was discussed as well.
The scholars of the Centre Dr. Mariam Didebulidze, Dr. Dimitri Tumanishvili, Dr. David Khoshtaria, Dr. Irine Eliszbarashvili, Dr. Irine Giviashvili, Baadur Kupreishvili participated in the meeting.
