10.05.2017 – ცენტრმა უმასპინძლა პოლონელი, უკრაინელი და ბელორუსი ხატმწერების გამოფენას. ღონისძიება საქართველოში პოლონეთის საელჩოს სრული მხარდაჭერით ხორციელდებოდა. ასევე ჩამოსულები იყვნენ თავად ავტორები, რომელთა ნამუშევრებიც თანამედროვე საეკლესიო მხატვრობის თვალსაზრისით მნიშვნელოვანი სა დაინტერესო იყო როგორც სპეციალისტებისათვის, ასევე უბრალოდ დაინტერესებული საზოგადოებისთვისაც.
On April 15 the Centre arranged a meeting with a young Portuguese architect Sezar Ribeira, now working in Georgia.
Sezar Ribeira gave a talk on creative work of a well-known Portuguese architect Alvaro Siza. Also, he spoke about some aspects (space, lighting, tradition and environment) of theoretical basis of urban architecture.
The report was met with great interest.
15 აპრილს ცენტრში მოეწყო შეხვედრა ახალგაზრდა პორტუგალიელ არქიტექტორთან, სეზარ რიბეირასთან, რომელიც ამჟამად მოღვაწეობს საქართველოში.
სეზარ რიბეირამ წარმოადგინა მოხსენება ცნობილი პორტუგალიელი არქიტექტორის ალვარო სიზას (Alvaro Siza) შემოქმედებაზე. ასევე ურბანული არქიტექტურის ზოგიერთი ასპექტის (სივრცე, სინათლე, ტრადიცია და გარემო) თეორიულ საფუძვლების თაობაზე.
მოხსენებამ დიდი ინტერესი და მოწონება გამოიწვია.
A personal exhibition of pieces of art of an artist-designer Angela Agaian in the Centre exhibition hall Ars Georgica. (24.04 -26.04)
For two days the Centre exhibition space was at the disposal of a young artist-designer Angela Agaian’s personal exhibition. At present the young artist lives and works in Italy. Graphic pieces of art presented at the exhibition make obvious the artist’s interest towards superrealism, which nowadays supposedly is the main theme of her research.

ცენტრის საგამოფენო სივრცე დაეთმო ახალგაზრდა მხატვარ-დიზაინერის ანჯელა აგაიანის პერსონალურ გამოფენას. ახალგაზრდა მხატვარი ამჟამად ცხოვრობს და მორვაწეობს იტალიაში. გამოფენაზე წარმოდგენილი გრაფიკული ნამუშევრები ცხადყოფს მხატვრის ინტერესს სუპერრეალიზმისადმი. რაც სავარაუდოდ მისი ამჟამინდელი ძიებების მთავარი თემაცაა.

Collected articles of the George Chubinashvili National Research Centre for Georgian Art History and Heritage Preservation
In 2017 the annual collected articles of the Centre – Georgian Antiquities was made ready and published. There are gathered scientific researches of the Centre scientists and not only theirs (16 publications all together) in different spheres of ancient Georgian art: architecture, wall painting, reliefs, metal chasing and applied art. The magazine includes publication already having an archival significance and the material which gives factual information for the later scientific research.
