On December 2, 2014 on the initiative of Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia, the minister of culture Michael Giorgadze visited the George Chubinashvili National Research Centre for Georgian Art History and Heritage Preservation.
The minister acquainted himself with the infrastructure of the Centre in details, met the staff of the Centre, spoke to them about the plans of the Ministry and expressed his willingness to support fulfillment of any interesting projects or ideas suggested by the research workers. At the same time the minister became acquainted with the books published by the Centre and visited the exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of a Georgian painter David (Duda) Gabashvili in the exhibition hall of the Centre.
