On January 9, at 5p.m. in the George Chubinashvili National Research Centre for Georgian Art History and Heritage Preservation there was an opening day of the exhibition “Images of Art Historians in the 20th Century Georgian Art”.
The exhibition represents the portraits of the art historians who work in the Chubinashvili Centre executed by famous and less well-known artists. Among them there are the pieces of art of Ketevan Magalashvili, Ucha Japaridze, Peter Bliotkin, Duda Gabashvili, Zhani Medzmariashvili, George Jashi, Irakli Ochiauri, Irakli Toidze, Robert Sturua, Edmond Kalandadze, Zurab Nizharadze, Temur Machavariani, Tamaz Khutsishvili, Soso Tsereteli, Givi Tumanishvili, Irakli Parjiani, Gia Bugadze, Levan Chogoshvili, Karlo Kacharava, Oleg Kochakidze, Vakhtang Oniani, Nodar Aptsiauri, Avtandil Popiashvili, Besarion Arbolishvili, Tsisia Kiladze, Vakhtang and Gogi Khoshtaria, Asmat Okropiridze, Dodo Chikaidze, Nikusha Shengelaia, Diana Kipiani and Beso Ebralidze.
Images of Art Historians in the 20th Century Georgian Art
