გ.ჩუბინაშვილის სახელობის ქართული ხელოვნების ისტორიისა და ძეგლთა დაცვის ეროვნული კვლევითი ცენტრის ელექტრონული ჟურნალი
2017 წელს მომზადდა და აიტვირთა ელექტრონულ სივრცეში ჟურნალის ახალი ნომერი, სადაც თანამედროვე ხელოვნების შესახებ სტატიების გარდა წარმოდგენილია ინტერვიუები და მოგონებები ცნობილ ქართველ ხელოვანებთან.
The exhibition of David Mack’s peaces of art in the Centre exhibition hall Ars Georgica (17.10.2017)
With the support of the USA Embassy the exhibition of works of David Mack was organized in the Centre exhibition hall. David Mack is an American artist, one of the bestselling authors of New York Times, the creator of Mack Milan children’s book “Shy Creatures”, the painter of several famous films, among others the author of the new series of “Jesica Jones” directed by Chack Palanuk. He has illustrated a poetic collaboration of Neal Geoman and an American poetry award winner Bill Collins. At present he is working on the illustrations of Kabuki. The artist organized a masterclass for the visitors of the exhibition and even made a few graphic works for them.
On the 11.10.2017 in connection with a museum week D. Tumanishvili will read a public lecture – George Chubinashvili’s Museum Activity in the George Chubinashvili Research Centre.

On 18-26. 09. 2017 the Japanese part and the Centre scientists organized joint expeditions which were the culminating point of Tokyo Technological Institute project : Interaction and Evolution of Architectural Technique in the Region Amalgamated with Christian and Islamic Culture. The project on its side implied measurements and photogrammetric fixation of monuments of Georgian architecture.
18-26.09.2017 – განხორციელდა ერთობლივი ექსპედიციები იაპონურ მხარესა და ცენტრის თანამშრომლების მიერ, რაც დამაგვირგვინებელი ნაწილი იყო ტოკიოს ტექნოლოგიური ინსტიტუტის პროექტის: Interaction and Evolution of Architectural Technique in the Region Amalgamated with Christian and Islamic Culture. პროექტი თავის მხრივ ითვალისწინებდა ქართული ხუროთმოძღვრული ძეგლების აზომვასა და ფოტოგრამეტრიულ ფიქსაციას.
On 18-23. 09. 2017 an educational visit of Georgian representatives to UNESCO headquarters was organized. The Centre scientist K. Abashidze took part in the above mentioned event as a member of the art council at the Patriarchate.
18-23. 09. 2017 – მოეწყო საქართველოს წარმომადგენელთა სასწავლო ვიზიტი იუნესკოს შტაბ-ბინაში. ცენტრის მეცნიერ-თანამშრომელი, ქ. აბაშიძე, როგორც საპატრიარქოსთან არსებული ხელოვნების საბჭოს წევრი, მონაწილეობას ღებულობდა აღნიშნულ ღონისძიებაში.
