On April 19, 2011 a Round Table on the subject of “Old Tbilisi Identity and Spirit” took place in Tbilisi, in the conference hall of the Courtyard Marriot Hotel. It represented a concluding meeting of conferences, seminars and exhibitions held during the year, that were organized jointly by The British Council, The Goethe Institute, ICOMOS of Georgia and International Art Centre “Istoriali”.
Research workers of the G.Chubinashvili Centre took an active part in the activity of conferences and seminars mentioned above.
The director of the Centre Mariam Didebulidze and leading research workers Maia Mania and Manana Suramelashvi took part in the Round Table.
The Round Table worked out recommendations for the city management concerning protection of the old Tbilisi urban heritage.
