ა/წ 22-23 მაისს ქ. ფრიბურგში (შვეიცარია), ჩატარდა საერთაშორისო სამეცნიერო კონფერენცია “კულტურული ურთიერთგავლენები შუა საუკუნეების საქართველოში”, რომელიც მოეწყო ფრიბურგის უნივერსიტეტში, პროფესორ მიქელე ბაჩის თაოსნობით. კონფერენციაზე მოხსენებების წასაკითხად მიწვეულნი იყვნენ ჩუბინაშვილის ცენტრის თანამშრომლები ე. გედევანიშვილი მ. დიდებულიძე და ნ. ჭიჭინაძე.
Helen Scheibach’s photo exhibition “Photo Album Uplistsikhe” in the Centre exhibition hall Ars Georgica (22.05 -31.05)
Exposed photographs were taken in 2014-2016. The exhibition of a photographer Helen Scheibach is especially dedicated to the theme of Uplistsikhe. The photographs contain the main determining theme of the conception of independence – the environment where time is stopped.

ექსპონირებული ფოტოები გადაღებულია 2014-1916 წწ.-ში. ფოტოგრაფ ელენე შეიბახის ნამუშევრების ეს გამოფენა მიეძღვნა კონკრეტულად უფლისციხის თემას. ხელოვანმა წარმოადგინა ფოტოები, რომელთაც თან დაურთო დამოკიდებულებისა და კონცეფციის განმსაზღვრელი მთავარი თემა. გარემო სადაც დრო გაჩერებულია.

Collected articles of the George Chubinashvili National Research Centre for Georgian Art History and Heritage Preservation
In 2017 the annual collected articles of the Centre – Georgian Antiquities was made ready and published. There are gathered scientific researches of the Centre scientists and not only theirs (16 publications all together) in different spheres of ancient Georgian art: architecture, wall painting, reliefs, metal chasing and applied art. The magazine includes publication already having an archival significance and the material which gives factual information for the later scientific research.
გ.ჩუბინაშვილის სახელობის ქართული ხელოვნების ისტორიისა და ძეგლთა დაცვის ეროვნული კვლევითი ცენტრის სამეცნიერო კრებული
2017 წ. მომზადდა და გამოიცა ცენტრის ყოველწლიური სამეცნიერო კრებული – საქართველოს სიძველენი. აღნიშნულ გამოცემაში თავმოყრილია ცენტრის მეცნიერ-თანამშრომელთა და არა მხოლოდ მათი სამეცნიერო კვლევები (მთლიანობაში 16 პუბლიკაცია), ძველი ქართული ხელოვნების სხვადასვა სფეროში: არქიტექტურა, კედლის მხატვრობა, რელიეფი, ჭედურობა და გამოყენებითი ხელოვნება. ჟურნალში განთავსებულია, უკვე საარქივო მნიშვნელობის პუბლიკაციები და მასალა, რომელიც შემდგომი სამეცნიერო კვლევებისთვის იძლევა ფაქტობრივ ინფორმაციას.
An exhibition of modern icons (the exhibition of Polish, Ukrainian, Byelorussian and Georgian icon painters) in the Centre exhibition hall Ars Georgica. (10.05.2017)
For many years events with the aim to represent religious and cultural vatiety of Pogranichia have been held in a small mountainous village of Novitsa. The organizers decided to hold international seminars of icon painters after they had got acquinted with the artists who continued traditions of church painting in Poland, as well as they had met the graduates of Lvov National Academy of Art. In the frames of these seminars there have been created and painted a lot of new icons, which were exposed in the Chubinashvili Centre.
The event was held under the aegis of Polish Embassy; the exhibition lasted for several weeks.

პატარა მთის სოფელ ნოვიცაში, უკვე წლებია ტარდება ღონისძიებები, რომელთა მიზანიც პოგრანიჩიას რელიგიური და კულტურული მრავალფეროვნების წარმოჩენაა. ხატმწერთა საერთაშორისო სემინარის გამართვა მათ მას შემდეგ გადაწყვიტეს, რაც გაიცნეს მხატვრები, რომლებიც საეკლესიო მხატვრობის ტრადიციას აგრძელებდნენ პოლონეთში, ასევე ლვოვის ეროვნული სამხატვრო აკადემიის საკრალური ხელოვნების კათედრის კურსდამთავრებულები. ამ სემინარის ფარგლებში შეიქმნა და დაიწერა ბევრი ახალი ხატი. შწორედ ამ ნამუშევრებს უმასპინძლა ჩუბინაშვილის ცენტრის საგამოფენო სივრცემ. ღონისძიება პოლონეთის საელჩოს ეგიდით მიმდინარეობდა და ექსპოზიციამ, რამდენიმე კვირას გასტანა.
On 10. 05. 2017 the Centre staged an exhibition of Polish, Ukranian and Belarusian icon painters. The event was held with the full support of Polish Embassy in Georgia. The authors also arrived to Georgia. Their works were significant from the point of view of modern church painting ; besides, they were interesting not only for the specialists but for the ordinary visitors of the exhibition as well.
